Cool Chemical Mask!

Making these masks was a fun and unique project to learn about the elements on the periodic table. The best part was the actual making of the masks in the art room. We began making our masks by putting plaster bandages on our faces.

I enjoyed trying to find an element that matched my personality. This Auburn fan decided to go for the gold when I learned the chemical symbol for Gold was Au!! One of the most interesting things I learned about gold is that it can be boiled at a temperature over 4,000 degrees!
